WHO ARE WE ?

Founded in 2014, Etudassur was created from a simple observation: no insurance company truly met the specific needs of students living in student residences. Faced with this gap, our young and committed team developed, in collaboration with the insurer Hiscox, an insurance solution entirely designed for this way of life.

At Etudassur, we are guided by a strong conviction: to strike the right balance between protection and budget. Our motto, “No Low Cost – Just Right Cost,” reflects this commitment. We design offers with genuinely useful coverage, without unnecessary options or excessive deductibles, in order to provide effective and affordable protection for students.

Today, with more than ten years of experience, we support over 100,000 policyholders and work with a network of more than 500 partners. This growth is based on continuous listening to our customers and their needs.

Our strongest partnership is, of course, with Hiscox, who listens to us in order to evolve the product with the addition of fairly unique guarantees such as bed bug disinsection or key loss coverage. Hiscox is also at the foundation of our compensation system, since for each contract Etudassur receives a commission based on the insurance premium as well as brokerage fees.

Although our solution is fully digital, the human dimension remains at the heart of our approach. Our teams are available to support you at every step, whether via your policyholder space, by phone, or by email.

With Etudassur, you can focus peacefully on your student life, knowing that your home is in good hands.

FAQ

Who is behind Etudassur?
arrow-up arrow-down

Etudassur is a brand of the insurance brokerage firm ACCS (Assurances Courtage Conseils Services), based in Paris’s 9th arrondissement. A young and dynamic team that has specialized in student home insurance for over 10 years has developed a 100% online solution for purchasing and managing policies.

Etudassur (ACCS) is an insurance broker—that is, an intermediary that designs and distributes insurance policies. The insurer that assumes the risk is Hiscox SA for home insurance, and Chapka/Mutuaide for travel and assistance coverage. The broker advises you and represents you in the event of a claim.

That’s Etudassur’s motto: rather than offering the lowest price by cutting back on coverage, the goal is to offer a fair price with solid coverage—reasonable coverage limits (€4,500 to €7,500) and a deductible lowered to €100. The idea: neither overpaying nor being underinsured.

ACCS (Etudassur) is registered with ORIAS under No. 07 002 006, which can be verified at www.orias.fr. This is the official registry of insurance intermediaries in France. The business is regulated by the ACPR (Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority). The insurer, Hiscox, is also licensed and regulated.

Etudassur serves more than 100,000 policyholders and works with more than 500 partner housing facilities in France, drawing on more than 10 years of expertise in student housing insurance.
